Zinc Emerging as a Key in Hydroxychloroquine-Based Treatments

A recent and widely circulated video by Dr. Anthony Cardillo, a Los Angeles doctor, reinforced the argument that Zinc may be a key complement to hydroxychloroquine in the fight against COVID-19.

“Every patient I’ve prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8 to 12 hours, they were basically symptom-free,” Cardillo told Eyewitness News.

“So clinically I am seeing a resolution,” he said.

He also stressed that he found hydroxychloroquine only works if combined with zinc. The drug, he said, opens a channel for the zinc to enter the cell and block virus replication.

Dr. Anthony Cardillo is the CEO of Mend Urgent Care.

A video was previously produced by Dr Wiesbauer, explaining the mechanisms at stake. In the comments section of this second video, there are a number of references, if you seek more detailed information.

Here is a detailed analysis by Dr Minh D Ta, a Board certified general practitioner in the United-States.

Note that we previously reported about the use of Zinc in the protocols developed by New York Doctor Vladimir Zelenko.
